BACKTESTED PERFORMANCE DISCLOSURE:

Historical performance provided on the website is backtested and does not reflect the performance of any actual client accounts managed or advised by BIA. Backtested performance results have many inherent limitations, certain of which are described below. No representation is being made that any actual client account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to the backtested performance provided. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between backtested performance results and the actual performance results subsequently achieved by a particular trading program. Past performance, including backtested performance, is no guarantee of future results.

The backtested performance is shown is for the stated time period only. Due to market volatility, an actual client account’s performance may be different. The backtested performance returns shown [assume/do not assume] the reinvestment of dividends and other income, which would adversely affect the performance results of any actual client account. The returns are shown net of any advisory fees and do include the deduction of other brokerage expenses that would be incurred in any actual client account and that would adversely the performance results of any actual client account. The returns do not take into account slippage, which may be incurred when actual investments are made and which would also adversely affect actual trading results.

One of the limitation of backtested performance is that it is developed with the benefit of hindsight. Another is that it does not account for financial risk or that material and market may impact a portfolio manager’s decision making, which could adversely affect actual trading results and performance. For example, the ability to withstand losses or adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect markets in general or the implementation of any specific trading program. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program, which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of backtested performance results and which can adversely affect actual trading results.

Performance data on the website has been obtained from public and third-party sources believed by BIA to be reliable. BIA has not sought to independently verify information obtained from public and third-party sources and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of such information. Even widely-accessible market data may include occasional bad data points. Accordingly, the unintentional use or omission of such bad data points may skew and misrepresent the performance and risk characteristics of investment strategies, securities, and investment vehicles, with a resulting distortion of back-test performance and risk characteristics of a specific investment strategy.
